Aero Wheel & Brake Service Corporation (FAA Repair Station #U8SR971J) was founded in 1966 to furnish Wheel & Brake Service to one customer. That customer was the Famous Lockheed Skunk works and the aircraft they were doing flight tests on was the SR-71 Blackbird1. Our second customer requirement was for the U21 aircraft and we're still actively supporting that aircraft Today.
At that time advertising was not easily done because of the "Top Secret" requirements of Lockheed for both aircrafts. But now, all these years later, we can and do promote our business. Our current customer's are many large and small companies, which include Boeing, Lockheed, Honeywell, Raytheon, Gulfstream Corporation, Clay Lacy, the Air Group and many others.
And of Interest- Wheels & Brakes used on the NASA 7472 that returns the Space Shuttle to Florida are Inspected and Serviced by our company.
