AOG Aviation Spares Inc. (AOG), based in Oswego, Illinois, was acquired by Desser Aerospace in 2018. AOG was founded in 2003 as an FAA/EASA part 145 certified repair station . Since its inception, AOG has provided engineering services and develops work scopes in designing and manufacturing of DER and RS-DER related repairs, for many ATA chapters, including electro-mechanical, hydraulic, waste and many other disciplines.

AOG is an FAA certified repair station, operating from a 15,000 square foot facility, and provides component repair and overhaul services to customers throughout the U.S. and international aerospace industry.

DER repairs are an alternative to OEM standardized repair methods, allowing AOG to deploy designs and utilize replacement parts that AOG’s

DER expertise and FAA certification sanction. The company can resolve shortcomings in original OEM designs and provide customers with faster access to replacement parts compared to sourcing new OEM components. AOG prides itself on the highest quality DER offerings and excellent customer service.
