DAC-EP

In 2017, Desser Aerospace opened a facility in Wales, Wisconsin to host DAC Engineered Products (DAC-EP), supporting new product initiatives and Owner Produced Parts (OPP) engineering. DAC-EP’s capabilities include testing and computation of landing gear and wheel and brake products, for integrated development of PMA and OPP parts for regional and jet transport aircraft. One of the first PMA brakes was a carbon/carbon heat stack for a 30 seat regional aircraft, which now has since gained dominance in its legacy fleet, providing more landings then the OEM brake while offering a much lower acquisition cost.
