Desser
Desser, founded in 1920 as Desser Tire and Rubber, is located in Montebello, California. Desser is a leading distributor and retreader of specialty aviation tires to commercial, business, military and general aviation aftermarkets. Today, Desser provides over 100,000 aircraft tires and tubes annually, to customers in more than 85 countries.
Desser is the leading stocking distributor of aircraft tires worldwide, carrying all major OEM brands, including Dunlop, Goodyear, Michelin, Condor, in addition to the company’s own private label brand, Aero Classic. Desser also offers ancillary aviation products such as tubes, wheels, brakes and brake pads, brake heat stacks and batteries. The company’s product knowledge, industry expertise and depth of offerings provides a unique advantage to customers.
Desser manufactures aircraft tires and tubes for all general aviation, collector classic military aircraft (“warbird”) and specialty aircrafts. Manufacturing capabilities range from the smallest tailwheel aircraft to the largest transport aircraft. Desser’s inventory is robust and includes hard to find sizes and plies. The company is prepared to support its customers’ needs, no matter how small or large.
Additionally, as one of only a few FAA certified tire retreaders, Desser’s retreading capabilities are unique, offering an attractive and cost-effective alternative to new tires.
Between the original California facility and the Memphis warehouse (opened in 1989), the company is able to distribute tires to customers anywhere in the U.S. within two days. For international tire distribution needs, Desser Australia was created to replicate Desser’s distribution platform in the Asia-Pacific region, with its robust universe of regional aircrafts.
